This article examines the specifics of the travelogue genre in Sofia Ya- blonska's work. It demonstrates that the author's documentary observations are combined with artistic techniques and emotional imagery. The purpose of the article is to conduct a analysis of the specifics of the travelogue genre in the works of Sofia Yablonska, in particular, to establish and substantiate how the author's documentary observations are integrated with artistic techniques. The comparative-historical method, cultural studies method, interpretation method, and hermeneutic analysis were used. The scientific novelty of the re- sults obtained lies in the substantiation of the synthesis of the documentary and artistic as a stylistic dominant in Sofia Yablonska's travelo.
